DUMBBELL BENCH PRESS TECHNIQUE - DON'T
When doing dumbbell bench press, please use the following technique - watch the video. Don't lower down dumbbells from the lying position, but put dumbbells back on your knees/thighs, stand up and lower them gently on to the bench as shown in the video.

The space has 24/7 camera surveillance and it's monitored by our staff. This will ensure your safety and protection of our assets inside the space against theft, damage, etc.

DUMBBELL BENCH PRESS TECHNIQUE
Please don't drop dumbells, even from a low height. When doing dumbbell bench press, please use the following technique when putting dumbbells down on to the bench. If putting them down to the ground do so genyl to minimize any impact with the ground or better yet, put them down gently on top of the blue or black mat.
SUGGESTED LAT PULLDOWN SETUP
CAN ADJUSTABLE DUMBBELLS BE DROPPED?
No. Adjustable dumbbells cannot be droppped. They have a fragile weight changing/dial mechanism and thus are very sensitive to any kind of force. Please be extra gentle and careful when putting them down. This even means not dropping dumbbells from the lying or seated position on a bench like you normally encounter when doing dumbbell presses. HOW DOES IT WORK
We offer private gym space that can be booked by the hour or more at anytime (24/7). To rent gym space, select duration and time when you wish to rent the space here - https://www.tokinesiology.ca/book.html
Once you make a booking, you'll receive your personalized door code which you'll use to get inside the space. For your first space rental, usually there will be a kinesiologist on site to show you the space before you start your workout and answer any questions you might have. In case there's no one to show you the space, we provide email/text/video call support.
For all your future bookings, you'll be alone inside the space or with your workout partners in case you decide to book the space for groups of two people or more.
Before the start of your workout, we'll ask you to fill out the informed consent form.
Our location is 115 Wolseley Street (close to Bathurst/Queen Street West intersection).

CAN I BRING MY OUTDOOR SHOES INSIDE THE SPACE
CAN I BRING A WORKOUT PARTNER WITH ME?
Due to government restrictions, at the moment we are only allowed to have one person inside the studio. This means you are not allowed to bring a workout partner. However, as soon as the government loosens the restrictions, we'll allow 2 people inside the studio, groups of 3 and more.
WHAT EXERCISE EQUIPMENT DO I HAVE ACCESS TO?
You have access to all the equipment you see inside our gym. Currently, we have the following but we are planning to add more: two squat racks (450+ lbs available), Bowflex adjustable dumbbells (10-90 lb), 2x adjustable kettlebell (10-40 lb), water-based rowing ergometer/machine, cable machine, lat pulldown, cable row machine, swiss bar, safety bar, hex/trap bar, leg extension/leg curl machine, hip thrust/split squats stand, TRX/suspension trainer, weighted vest (up to 100 lbs), step-up box (20x24x30 inches), Exxentric Kbox, slideboard, battle ropes, bands, gliders, spin/exercise bike, yoga mat, physioball, foam roller, landmine attachments, jump rope, massage table.
HOW DO I GET IN?
DO YOU HAVE A 24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY
Yes. If you do not cancel or reschedule your space rental at least 24-hours before the start of booking, you will be charged the full amount for that service. If you are arriving late, you will receive the remaining scheduled workout time. TO Kinesiology reserves the right to cancel space rental in which case you'll receive a full refund for the services you paid.

Note: leave 2-5 minutes towards the end of your workout to clean after yourself and put everything back where you found it OR you can do that as you go along with your workout.
DOES CLEANING/TIDYING UP AFTER MY WORKOUT COUNTS TOWARDS MY TIME
Can I DROP WEIGHT IN YOUR STUDIO?
No. You can't drop weight at our studio. Please be gentle with the equipment and minimize noise as much as possible. Don't drop weights or if you are going to be doing deadlifts, put down bar slowly or put exercise mat underneath to absorb the impact.
You agree not to make excessive noise, nor create any noise nor conduct any other activity which would in our judgment disturb other TO Kinesiology clients, guests, or other tenants.
CAN I PLAY MUSIC ON MY PHONE/SPEAKERS?
Yes, but keep noise levels at around 60 dB (not going over 65 dB). There is a sound measuring device inside the space that shows loudness level so at any time you know exactly the noise levels.

Email us at email@example.com. However, keep in mind that TO Kinesiology is not responsible for any property you may leave behind in our space. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have taken all of your personal belongings when leaving our studio.
HOW CAN I CANCEL/RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
When you booked an appointment, you should've received an email confirmation. Go to that email and in it you'll find an option to cancel/reschedule as shown below on this image. Click on "reschedule or cancel" and you'll be taken to your account login page where you'll see all of your future and past bookings. Here you can cancel your appointment, or reschedule. Remember that we have 24-hour cancellation policy, so if you are unable to reschedule/cancel, that probaby means you are within 24-hour cancellatio window.
MY ONLINE BOOKING ACCOUNT
In your online booking account you can see your past and future appointments, cancel/reschedule appointment, see you personal info, change notification setting and update payments methods. To login to your account, go to the confirmation email you received from us when you booked an appointment. Click on "View Details" and you'll be taken to the login page. You'll need your phone number you used to book this appointment and/or email address.
